A Coptic family which converted to Islam demonstrated near the office of the Public Prosecutor. They claim that they were attacked by the police after revealing their conversion and then detained for refusing to return to Christianity. The family showed onlookers bruises and cuts left by the assault which still mark their bodies as well as brandished blood-stained items of clothing. They accuse the Interior Ministry of entering their home and stealing a satellite dish and furniture in an attempt to start a fight which would lead to their arrest.
