Anti-semitism and the double standards of the West
(Al-Quds Opinion)
While Netanyahu and Lieberman are accusing the president of Turkey Racep Tayyib Erdogan of anti-Semitism, the Israeli lobby continues to add pressure on Western media. In addition to the campaign against Tim Wilcox of the BBC regarding his pro-Palestine comments, American journalist Jim Clancy (after 34 years of serving CNN) was forced to resign because he criticized Israel on Twitter in light of the Charlie Hebdo attacks. In the aftermath of the Charlie Hebdo attacks, Muslims in France were subjected to over 75 attacks. The media, however, did not provide sufficient news coverage of those attacks; thus showing Western media’s double standard and that of anti-Semitism propaganda. Anti-Semitism has become a ready-to-use weapon that the West will never hesitate to use.
