The diplomatic relationships between the Gulf Countries and Egypt have undergone major changes as Saudi Arabia continues to offer conditional support to Egypt. President Sīsī is contending with the increasing importance of Qatar and Turkey to the Saudi Government as well as a new regional strategy in the Middle East, which is forcing him to limit his government’s oppression of the Muslim Brotherhood.
