Attorney General transported to the operating room

Judge Muhammad ʿAbd al-Sādiq responsible for the office of the Attorney General, announced that Judge Hishām Barakāt was transferred to the operating room in the Nuzha hospital on account of being injured in an explosion this morning. This caused wounds in the nose, shoulders and other parts of his body. The convoy of the judge was the target of a bomb which exploded in New Cairo. Two guards and one civilian were injured as well in the explosion.
