Grand Muftī of Egypt, Dr. Naẓīr ʿAyyād, announced Dār al-Iftāʾ will, for the first time, hold an international symposium marking the International Day for Iftāʾ, under the patronage of President ʿAbd al-Fattāḥ al-Sīsī.

Under the patronage of Prime Minister Muṣṭafā Madbūlī, Dār al-Iftāʾ held a symposium titled, ‘Fatwā & Character Building,’ in which a documentary that reviewed efforts by al-Azhar as a source of enlightenment and moderation was screened.
