Archpriest Mattias Nasr, Priest of 'Izbit al-Nakhl Church and the leader of the Maspero movement, denied that they will end the protest unless the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces reopen the three churches that have been closed.  
Thousands of Copts and a large number of Muslims continue their protest for the seventh day in front of the Maspero, asserting that they refuse any foreign interference. They said that the United States and Israel are trying to increase sectarian clashes.
