On Sunday, September 29th, the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned the Egyptian ambassador in Khartoum over the arrest of Sudanese student Walīd ʿAbd al-Raḥmān in Egypt, who has been accused of taking part in protests against Egyptian president ʿAbd al-Fattāḥ al-Sīsī’s government.
