Egyptian authorities order confiscation of the book "Walls of Freedom"

The Port of Alexandria’s state prosecutor ordered the confiscation of 46 cartons containing 400 copies of an English book titled, "Walls of Freedom." According to the prosecutor, the books contain inflammatory propaganda against the police and army, information on how to confront them, and agitation against the very heart of the ruling system. The prosecutor also ordered the arrest of the heads of the shipping and publishing companies which imported the book. However, Ahmad Salīm, head of the print censorship unit of the Information Ministry, said that book did not contain any inflammatory remarks and that it had already been approved to enter Egypt and to be distributed without any edits.
