Muhammad Shardī, a television broadcaster on “90 Minutes,” reported on a conversation with a delegation of the Egyptian Human Rights Council after their visit to an Egyptian prison. The delegation visited the prison after complaints were raised that prompted concerns that torture is occurring in the prison. For his part, an aide of the Interior Minister called into the program and denied that there is any torture occurring inside the prison.
