Egyptian workers: Women’s participation in the labour force spreads across Africa and the world

Gabālī al-Marāghī, president of the Egyptian Trade Union Federation, confirmed that the building of any civil society depends on the equality of its members and women must be protected as they are weak and require protection.  He continued by saying that despite the political and constitutional rights granted to women, they are still marginalized and excluded from positions or power-and requires that fathers, husbands, and brothers protect them.
