On its Sunday meeting the Ministry of Religious Endowments, al-awqāf, decided to “prevent any member of the Muslim Brotherhoods or any other terrorist organization from working in the mosques managed by al-awqāf, especially groups such as “scholars against the coup””. The ministry spokesperson added that “no permits to work in mosques will be issued without a confirmation that the person is not a member of such organizations”.
