Salafīs have stopped Shaykh Muhammad ‘Iz al-Dīn Abd al-Sattar, First Deputy for preaching affairs, Ministry of Endowments, from entering al-Rahmān al-Rahīm mosque in MutāhrahVillage, Abū Qurqās district, Minya. Instead they allowed Shaykh Muhammad Ya’qūb to give the Friday sermon.
