The Cairo Foreign Press Association, in cooperation with the Global Forum for Media and Development, and the Center for Arab-West Understanding are delighted to invite you to an international conference on the recent terror incidents that took place in France.

The conference will be held in InterContinental Cairo Semiramis hotel, at 05:00 PM on the 27th of January.

The terror attacks in Paris highlighted the urgent need for cooperation and dialogue between the Europe and the Arab World – not only in response to the act itself, but also in the following outcry and exposure of European Muslim community in the aftermath of the event. Inexcusable as the attack was, it further highlighted contentions and the debate regarding the controversial nature of free speech and the importance of mutual cultural understanding.
