Sectarian tensions thwarted after the conversion of a house into a church in Minya

 The security authorities managed to limit the sectarian tensions which arose in the governorate of Minya in the village of Nazlat Asmant after the attempt of a Copt to convert his house into a church. Once the security forces reached the village, it was noticed that there were no clashes between Muslims and Christians. The owner of the house was asked to sign a declaration in which he assured he would not convert the house.
