State Department spokeswoman, Jen Psaki, said in a press conference today that the Secretary of State, John Kerry, spoke on the phone with Egyptian Foreign Minister Sāmih Shukrī. The conversation revolved around the unfolding situation in Libya where 21 Egyptian Copts have been kidnapped. She also said that the crisis confirmed the necessity of finding a political solution to the hostilities in Libya.
