Wealthy in Egypt ranked the third most wealthy in the Arab world

Forbes of the Middle East has published a report on the 100 wealthiest people in the Middle East and Egypt’s wealthy are the third most represented nation present on the list. Saudi Arabia comes in first with a combined wealth of $65.88 billion, then Lebanon with $33.77 billion, and then Egypt with $27.12 billion.  The wealth collected by these individuals is more than some of the Arab nations’ budgets. Egypt’s wealthiest family is valued at over 6 billion dollars; however 22 million Egyptians live below the poverty line and the employment level stands at 12.9%. However, unofficial statistics suggest that 40% of Egyptians live below the poverty line.
