The Church breaks its silence and responds to systematic smear campaigns. It asserts: “The Pope is not negligent of His people and does not hand his sons to the police. Rioting is not a solution to the problems. There are attempts to strike the Pastor and divide the Parish.

Last Wednesday the Pope interrupted his weekly sermon and left the cathedral due to the entrance of few protesters in the church, who, with the pretext of challenging the traditional views of the Church, insisted on supporting rioting and disturbance as means to push their claims forward. Protesters accused the Pope of negligence towards His Sons, while His supporters believe this is part of an attack to the authority of the Pope in attempt to divide the Church.
