The government tried to control the situation in Al-Kosheh by sending security forces, local and public leaders and Christian and Muslim religious men. In spite of the procedures that were taken by the government to overcome this crisis, including changing the name of the village from Al-Kosheh to Al-Salaam, some of the foreign press makes an effort to describe the events in a way that defames Egypt.
