Foreign press, emigrant Copts and some Christians in Egypt were furious when Counselor Mohammed Afifi judged 92 out of the 96 defendants prosecuted in the Al-Kosheh case innocent. The court was considered not to have taken into account that there were 20 people killed. Counselor Afifi said that accusing the wrong people wasted the victim’s blood.
