Yesterday the Higher State Security Court in Egypt gave its reasons for finding all the defendants in the Ibn-Khaldoun Center case guilty. They concentrated on the legal part of the case and did not discuss the campaign adopted by American and western bodies against the verdict. They explained they were confident of the evidence, which convicted the accused persons. Professor Ibrahim’s lawyer said he would study the reasons as a first step to filing an appeal.
