Dr. Roushdy Said’s book "Egypt’s Treasures between Nasser and Sadat" discuses the eras of President Gamal Abdel El-Nasser and President Anwar el-Sadat. It takes its reader on a tour inside the political scene in Egypt from 1961-62 when Dr. Said entered political life until 1976-80 when he left. As one of the first Copts appointed to the Egyptian parliament, by President Nasser in 1964, Dr. Said talks about the sad tradition of appointing Copts to parliament and how it has become one of the main reasons for a lack of Coptic participation in elections.
