Prof. Dr. Tareq Mitri, Program Executive for Christian-Muslim Relations and Dialogue of the World Council of Churches in Geneva, Switzerland wrote a letter of recommendation to 44 organizations and persons specialized in intercultural dialogue
Arab-West Report is a unique service aiming at creating understanding between Muslims and Christians, the Western world and the Islamic world. It strives to balance some of the uninformed or distorted reporting. It offers a thorough media overview of the discussion about the role of religion in society in the Arab World through translations, summaries, press reviews and investigative reports.
The work of the Arab-West Report is supported by several religious leaders in Egypt, Muslim and Christian scholars alike in and outside Egypt. It is appreciated in the World Council of Churches and by a group of interested people, including diplomats, scholars and media.
Since its inception in 1997, the Arab-West Report has provided some 6000 articles and reports which form unique source materials for a greater understanding of Muslim-Christian relations. It provides subscribers with 40 to 60 pages of articles per week, including highly effective special reports that help to reduce tensions.
The Arab-West Report is primarily subscriber financed. I strongly recommend you to take a subscription and/or sponsor this work.
Sincerely yours,
Dr. Tareq Mitri
