Seven religious scholars refute the allegations of the Zionist German writer Christian Luxenburg, who claims that the Qur´an was written in the Aramaic language which prevailed at that time and not Arabic. Further, they argue against his theory that the Qur´an was not a revealed text but simply an interpretation of the Holy Scriptures as revealed in the Torah and the New Testament. They also reject his view that Muhammad was not a prophet but an ordinary man who embraced Christianity
