The article tries to answer the question whether the U.S. will really succeed in Americanizing Islamic culture. It examines the attitude of the U.S. toward the Arab and Islamic world after the September 11 attacks. A few months following September 11, the American Administration flagrantly demanded Arab and Islamic countries to take certain procedures related to the beliefs, ethics, life style and tradition of their societies – which has given the indication that beforehand plans have been set force to shaken spiritual and ethical pillars in Arab and Islamic societies.
