It is important to warn against what Dr. Milad Hanna said in the program “Khana Lak” [a space for you]. In the program, Dr. Hanna said, “It is good that you [addressing the host of the program] talked about the right of determining sovereignty. Many Egyptians here say that the Sudanese got their rights, but in Egypt we did not. But the Sudan paid the price: two million were killed. The people have to pay a heavy price in order to have the right to determine their destiny.” Dr. Hanna’s words crossed the limits and destroyed the sanctity that protects the Egyptian people against invaders.
