The Ibn Khaldoun Center for Development Studies held a

conference about political reform in the Arab world in which the issues of democracy, political

reform, changing the constitution and the freedom of creating political parties were discussed.

The final statement proposed forming an independent committee for reform, to coordinate between

and among political powers in demanding reform.
