The article takes the form of a letter directed to Mr. President Muhammad Husni Mubarak about the difficulties Copts face in following the procedures needed for obtaining permissions for building churches and their service-offering annexes. The author holds security authorities responsible for these difficulties. He finally proposes forming a committee that comprises of security authorities and public figures, both Christian and Muslim, to be responsible for examining requests for the construction of churches and other buildings for Christian services.
