Center for Arab-West Understanding
Arab-West Report
Drs. Cornelis Hulsman and Eng. Sawsan Gabra Ayoub Khalil
Dear Kees and Sawsan,
I have been very pleased reading Arab-West Report for the past six or seven years. The job you are doing is brilliant and the service you provide essential for both Egyptian and non-Egyptian churches, because you are working towards peace and mutual understanding between cultures.I believe Arab West Report provides great insight and understanding for any expatriate living in Egypt about the place of the local church and Islam in Egypt. This is of immense value for anyone wanting to gain and in depth understanding of Egyptian culture.
As you know, we are in the middle of a series of sermons about the Da Vinci Code, revealing the lies that have been presented in this book about the Gospels and Jesus Christ [Editor: See art. 63 of this issue for Dave Petrescue’s sermons on this issue]. In a similar way, you uncover false reports and interpretations about incidents in Egypt. I have seen the sensitive way you have reported about such subjects, clarifying issues for people who are insufficiently informed about important details and nuances.
It is my desire and prayer that in every area the power of truth will prevail and that people from all backgrounds will be able to enjoy a growing peace and understanding together. Thank you for working toward a similar objective.
I wish you all the best as you seek to expand your readership and raise the necessary funds needed to sustain your work.
May God bless you in your ministry,
Dave Petrescue
