In response to his attorney's request during the first hearing, the Criminal Court of Qena postponed further investigation into the case of the "Farshout Child" until the suspect, Girgis Baroumy Girgis, presents the appropriate legal documents explaining his exemption from military services. Neither the victim, her family nor the suspect attended the hearing.
