In an interview with the church’s official magazine about the Muslim demonstrations every Friday, Pope Shenouda III urged Egyptians to hold on to national unity and stop listening to the Fitnah hype. He expressed his outrage with the demonstrations that occur after Friday prayers every week, which include the chanting of offensive slogans against himself and the Church.
