Even though religious slogans are not allowed in parliamentary campaigns, Muslim Brotherhood candidate Dr. Hamdī Zahrān insists on using “Islam is the Answer” in his campaign in Beni Suef. He talked to al-Shurūq about the elections and about the group’s strategy for the new parliament. He also criticized the National Democratic Party for using schools and places of worship for promotion.
