In an interview with Al-Shurūq, head of the Hand-in-Hand for Egypt foundation, Michael Munīr, said that Dr. Muhammad al-Barad‘ī  has lost the trust of Copts by cooperating with the Muslim Brotherhood and failing to clearly announce his intentions regarding the second article in the Egyptian constitution. He also accused the National Democratic Party of planning to rig the elections.
