Khālid talks about claims that the Qur'an had prophesied future scientific discoveries, a theory that was championed by Dr. Mustafá Mahmūd over ten years ago and allegedly proved wrong by Dr. ‘Ā’ishah ‘Abd al-Rahmān. The same claims are now being brought forward by Dr. Zaghlūl al-Najjār. Khālid wonders if anyone will have the courage to once again confront these theories during times of religious extremism and risk being called a non-believer. He announces that he will begin publishing Dr. ‘Abd al-Rahmān’s old articles on the matter in his column and asks whether someone will call her a non-believer.
