Hānī ‘Azīz talks about the unified law for places of worship and says that a law that has been held for over two decades is unlikely to ever see the light of day.

He says that since the new parliament is so diverse, to come up with a sensible alternative should not be a problem.

He proposes the government use national ID cards in determining which areas need more churches, depending on the number of Coptic residents, and grant them permits to build them legally.
