Dr. ‘Abd al-Mun‘im Abū al-Futūh, head of the Students’ Department at the Muslim Brotherhood; refused the idea of establishing a political party, and said that Islamic groups may not create political parties competing for political authority. But at the same time, he assured that he does not mind an existence of a party that reflects “Brotherhood's” ideologies.

Abū al-Futūh also mentioned how our brothers in Iran perpetrated a crime by forcing the hijāb on women, and our brothers in France also perpetrated a crime by disallowing women to wear the hijāb. It is not up to the law to force women to wear or remove the hijāb.
