Testimonies of 'Abīr Sālim 'Abd al-Fatāh, living in Imbābah, were contradicting. She claimed to be kidnapped from Maspero in the midst of March, 2011 by unknown individuals, allegedly Christians.
[Reviewer's Note: Newspaper confused the incidents of both stories of 'Abīr Tal'at Fakhrī and Raghdah Sālim 'Abd al-Fatāh. Fakhrī is the sedition-monger of Imbābah accused of bigamy for marrying a Christian and a Muslim husband at the same time. Salafists burned two churches in Imbābah to free her from alleged detention by the church. However, Raghadh, living in Imbābah, claims that she was kidnapped from the Maspero area by Christians along with other veil-clad young-women.]
Clear contradictions were obvious in Raghdah and her parents testimonies after being interrogated by al-Giza prosecution. In the beginning, Raghdah said that she went out with her sisters in Imbābah to buy a gift, then they rode a microbus which was forced to stop in the Maspero area because of the crowd. She then got off the microbus with her sisters. After that, she was suffocated by gas bombs, and woke up to find herself detained. However, her mom related a different story.
[Reviewer's Note: The above paragraph is talking about Raghdah not 'Abīr.]
