Dr. Muhammad Salīm al-'Awā, presidential hopeful and Islamic thinker, said that the political and economical status in Egypt is terrible. He noted that there is a state of political chaos and it is increasing every day.

Al-'Awā said, in 'Mumkin program' on CBC Channel, that the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces' (SCAF) duty is to transmit authority. He also revealed that he gave CDs to the investigative team that prove that the Coptic rally, which quickly escalated into clashes with SCAF, was infiltrated which was the main reason for the clashes.
