The defense counsel of the FJP attended the session on Tuesday (June 19) led by former MPs Subhī Sālih, Muhammad Tūsun and Nāsir al-Hāfī and lawyers Ahmad Abū Barakah, ‘Abd al-Mun’im ‘Abd al-Maqsūd and ‘Alī Nāsir.

Wā’il Hamdī, a lawyer for Fakharānī, submitted a CD containing an episode of a TV talk show in which a leading member of the Muslim Brotherhood said “the group will never legalize its status because simply it does not recognize the current law on NGOs”.
