Bishop Frances Farīd, the deputy of Beni Suef patriarchate, Archpriest Ermia of the Manshīyet Haydar Church, and several clergymen held an 'urfī (conciliatory) session between the 'Alī and Nawas families in the village of Tazmant al-Gharbīyah before a sectarian strife erupted.
