Douglas May of AWR commends the New York Times article cited below, calls on the U.S. to receive the Egyptian president respectfully and listen to him with an open mind.  While President Muhammad Mursī makes no apologies for his Muslim Brotherhood background, May is hopeful that his determination to guarantee equal rights for all its citizens filters down to all Egypt’s citizens, its government and its judiciary.
