Forensics finalized Monday (Feb. 20) examining the injuries of nine army soldiers to detect the nature of their wounds during the Maspero incidents that left 23 people dead and dozens others injured.

Counselor 'Ādil al-Ghūwayt, the judge mandated by the justice ministry to investigate the case, had ordered the referral of 11 army soldiers who were securing the state radio & TV building during the clashes between protesters and army personnel to the forensic medicine body.
