This book is written by the well-known Coptic media figure Hānī Labīb. The book was published at a time when the Coptic Church was in greatest need of it. The book entitled “The Egyptian church: Balances between religion and state” contains 500 pages and was published by Dār Nahdit Misr. The book cover depicts three crosses upon the dome of a Church and a crescent drawn upon the Egyptian flag appears in their center. This cover honestly delivers the message of the book and the author's goal which he expresses on page 7, stating: “I am biased towards the interest of the Egyptian state as a personal and patriotic choice that goes beyond any traditional religious affiliations that the Egyptian society belongs to, and it confronts any related intentional or non-intentional misunderstandings as well as those abutting on ideological, religious and sectarian attitudes against the concept of a patriotic Egyptian state.”
