In an interview to Al-Dustūr, Father Wīsah, Bishop of Belina and Bardīs of Sohag Governorate, stated that the Diocese had purchased the land on which the Preparatory School for Boys, formerly called the “School of Butros’ Brothers”, from the Ministry of Education. In 2010, the diocese’s property was, then, registered in the Real Estate Registration and Documentation Department under No. 3719 for the year 1921 and No. 154 for 1924, he also received a ruling that put into effect the hand in of the property to the Diocese; however, a number of thugs surrounded the school building, blocking the entrances to the school ground. Seeking the assistance of security forces, Bishop Wīsah noted, that the security forces just dispersed the thugs instead of investigating the inciters, according to him.
