Coptic Orthodox Pope Tawadros II installed four general bishops and ordained seven new Archbishops on new dioceses. He announced that the Church will celebrate the first Anniversary commemorating the death of late Coptic Orthodox Pope Shenouda III on Friday, March 15, 2013. The celebration will continue for three days. 

The Orthodox Pope also had a meeting with the members of the Holy Synod at Bishop Bishoy Monastery (Dayr al-Anbā Bīshūy) in Wādī al-Natrūn. They discussed the personal affairs of Christians in Egypt (Mājī Jamāl, al-Sabāh, Mar. 11, p. 3). Read original text in Arabic
