Public prosecutor Tal’at ‘Abdullah has referred Salafī preacher Muhammad Ahmad ‘Abdullah, more commonly known as Abū Islām, to court on charges of defamation of Christianity and broadcasting false information to incite unrest and sectarian strife. Investigations have revealed that Abū Islām insulted Christianity during a program on his TV channel “al-Ummah”, that he ripped the bible and that he called all Christian female protesters prostitutes who want to get raped (Muhammad Napoleon, al-Shurūq al-Jadīd, Mar. 18, p. 3). Read original text in Arabic.
