‘Ayād related the story of his disappearance, he said that he was participating in Friday’s protests to denounce the “brotherhoodization” of the country. When the protest turned physical, a person attacked him and took him to Bilāl Mosque in al-Muqattam where he was tortured and beaten in the mosque. He managed to escape by jumping from a higher story of the mosque and cried for help, then people found him and took him to the hospital.
