Ayman William ‘Ayād, father of the kidnapped child, informed the police that two days ago he was returning to his farm with his four-year-old son when a gang of men in cars and trucks attacked his car by shooting at the car's frame. They forced him to stop, robbed him, and then kidnapped his son. He claimed that he later received a phone call demanding 750,000 EGP for his son's safe return.
