Hānī Rasmī Ma’bad filed a report at Old Egypt Police Station against Father Sarabamoun Farīd of Saint Barbara Church in Old Egypt, accusing him of being responsible for his father and sister’s suicide.

The procès-verbal no. 1651 for year 2013 relates that Father Sarabamoun authorized two church consultants to take legal actions and take over two houses that belong to Hānī’s family which made Hānī’s father and sister commit suicide.

The father had demanded his rights from the priest and when the priest refused he became depressed and commited suicide. His sister was banned from going to church after asking for her rights as well, so she committed suicide (Shaymā’ al-Sayyīd, al-Misrīyūn, Apr. 1, p. 11). Read original text in Arabic.
