Coptic Orthodox Pope Tawadros II has refused to continue to lodge at the Papal Headquarters of his predecessor, the late Coptic Orthodox Pope Shenouda III, to the surprise of the Church leadership. Pope Tawadros decided to move to the Coptic Cultural Centre without reason. According to a source, Pope Tawadros found a cheque for a million Egyptian pounds in Pope Shenouda's office.
