Archpriest Makārī Habīb, Secretary of the Pope, said that the Cathedral will welcome victims’ families on Monday, Apr. 15 to consolidate them for their loss. Additionally, Pope Tawadros will give his sermon normally on Wednesday, Apr. 17 (Pope tawadros had canceled his sermon on Wednesday, Apr. 10). 

The four Coptic suspects in al-Khusūs events had said during investigations that they did not leave the Cathedral during the attacks, likewise, the six Muslim suspects denied all charges against them, saying that they are residents of al-‘Abbāsīyyah and were protecting the Cathedral (‘Imād Khalīl, Muhammad Gharīb, Mahmūd ‘Atāllah and ‘Abd al-Hakam al-Jindī, al-Misrī al-Yawm, Apr. 15, p. 1). Read original text in Arabic.
